Acceptance of terms

By using Seagull, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use means you accept the changes.

What Seagull is

Seagull is a real-time audio translation desktop application. It captures audio playing on your computer, transcribes it, translates it, and displays subtitles on your screen. It's available for Mac, Windows, and Linux.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don't share your login with others. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

Subscription & billing

Seagull offers subscription plans billed through Stripe. Plans auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You can cancel anytime — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Acceptable use

Please use Seagull responsibly. You agree not to:

Intellectual property

Seagull and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bird Labs. The app is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You're granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal or business purposes while your subscription is active.

Disclaimers

Seagull is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that translations will be perfectly accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Real-time translation is inherently imperfect — please don't rely on Seagull for critical or life-safety applications.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bird Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Seagull. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you (such as through the app or by email).
